About Me:
Joel Opare-Asare is a Civil Servant and a Ghanaian research scientist with a special interest in Psychology, Gerontology and Geriatric Studies and Practice. He had his first degree (BSc Psychology) in Psychology at the University of Ghana, and is a member of the African Researchers Association on Ageing Network. He has a postgraduate certificate in Public Administration and a Master of Arts degree in Governance and Sustainable Development from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and the University of Cape Coast respectively.
He has since January 2013, worked with the Local Government Service as an administrative officer at Sekyere Central District Assembly, Nsuta, where he among others served on various committees and the boards of all the three Senior High Schools in the District. He is currently at the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly.
